How to: Organize Stud Earrings

Recently one of my friends requested a post on how I organize my earring collection.

I mostly have stud earrings. I used to store them in tin containers.
The main problem with this form of storage is that I could never find the other earring. It was time consuming and frustrating. >.<

The solution that works for me is foam sheets!

Just organize your studs on it.

Advantages:

·  You can find both pair of earrings
( without a headache)

·  You can see all your options so you're more likely wear all the earrings.
(In the past even though I had a lot of earring, I would just stick to a few favorites)

·  It's great for travel
( put the foam sheet + earrings in a ziplock bag and throw it in your purse)

·  You can organize it further
(I store my earrings on several sheets. I organize the sheets by causal vs. special occasion earrings)

·  The great thing about foam sheets is how accessible and inexpensive it is

(Give it a try! I promise you won't regret it! ^_^)

Bengali Style Crabs

Today my brother brought home over a dozen blue crabs.

1.5 Dozen Blue Crabs
Cleaned. Mix with turmeric powder, lime juice, and salt. Wash thoroughly.
Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, few cilantro leaves, and salt.
Let it marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Fry in oil until golden brown. Done! =)

Windswept leaves torn from trees...

It was a gusty afternoon when i decided to
walk around sunset park and take some photographs.

DIY Stretch Bracelets

This summer my sister and I made our own stretch bracelets. It was a lot of fun and super easy. To find out how to make your own, scroll down =)

To make your own here is what you will need:

Elastic (Stretch) Beading Cord
Krazy Glue
Beads
Scissors

Directions:

1. Cut 10-12 inches of the elastic cord and begin to string your beads.

2. After the last bead is strung, tie a square knot. Click Here for directions.

3. After the glue has dried, cut off the excess cord.

4. Your done!  Enjoy ^.^

How to Knot Stretch Cord

What You Will Need:
Elastic Beading Cord
Krazy Glue

Directions:
1. Cross the right and left ends of the elastic cord.

2. Bring right end over and under the left end.

3. Cross again but this time bring the left end over and under the right end.

4. Pull evenly to tighten the knot. Add a drop of Krazy glue. Tighten again and hold for 30 seconds.

5.  Let it dry completely before use. I suggest waiting about 24 hrs.
